The Burnham Over Harbour Trust is absolutely thrilled to announce that this year’s Superhero event, which takes place in the village and the Creek, has raised this amazing amount for our once-in-decades Groyne and Saltmarsh Restoration Project. We would like to thank all those involved, from the competitors and their wonderful sponsors, donors, pink ladies and, of course, the organisers led by Carlotta and Nick Newbury. Happily, in combination with donations received from supporters of the Harbour Trust and licence fees, we are now well placed to go ahead with the project thereby preventing the creek from silting up and preventing erosion of the saltmarsh with its unique biodiversity and beauty.
